Steak Glenfinnan

serves 2


  • 2 lean beef sirloin or popeseye (rump) steaks

  • 5 ml (1 tsp) oil from jar of sundried tomatoes

  • 6 sundried tomatoes, chopped

  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped

  • 8 black or green olives, pitted and chopped

  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) half fat crème fraîche

  • 1 ciabatta bread, sliced

Cooking Method

  1. Heat the oil in the frying pan and cook steak. Remove from pan and keep warm.
  2. Add remaining ingredients except the creme fraiche and bread, then cook for 1 – 2 minutes.
  3. Stir through the creme fraiche.
