Glenapp Castle, celebrating its 10th Anniversary in 2010, is a luxury 17 bedroom, Scottish Baronial Castle set amid 36 acres of magnificent gardens and woodland. The castle is a member of Relais & Chateaux, has AA 5 Red Stars and 3 Rosettes and VisitScotland Five Gold Stars and the EatScotland Gold Award.
Dining at the castle is a gourmet experience. The daily changing six course menu allows Head Chef Tyron Ellul and his team to show their skills using only the very best local produce, including fresh fruit, vegetables and herbs from the castle gardens, locally reared beef, lamb and pork and West Coast shellfish.
For visitors to the area, Glenapp is within easy reach of many golf courses, wonderful gardens, historic houses and castles. The castle is open to resident guests from late March until 2 January with the exception of Christmas week. Table reservations for lunch, afternoon tea and dinner are accepted seven days a week, but advance booking is essential.
